QUIZ - What Kind of Stardollian are you?

Hey everyone! It's me Flowerpin? Remember me? Long time no see, right? Well it's been a long time since I, or any of my friends, have been on Stardoll. Going through high school and now college has been a busy 5 years for me. But anyway, if you're still out there I have a fun little quiz for you. I found it when I was cleaning our my google docs. It was a quiz I found from when I was writing for the BBS when that blog used to be up and running. I'm sad that's gone.

Coco Chanel Tribute Store in the Starplaza

The store made its first debut and release of the Coco Chanel "remembrance" tribute on today the 4th.

In a recent Stardoll email the collection was described as: Pay homage to one of the greatest fashion legends of all time with the Chanel Tribute. Elegant and glamorous, this is one collection that is unforgettable!

I am not sure that I can agree that it will be 'unforgettable' considering the whole collection is a basis of tube dresses and flats. Very few of the items are both elegant and glamorous. Stardoll seemed to fall short on another store and with the introduction of FEVER. Leaving stardollians truly satisfied with only a couple items from the collection. Besides the simple Tweed Coco Dress and the Pearl Chanel Flats I was not impressed by the rest. A few classic shapes and slapping on a Coco Chanel label do not do it justice.

The prices are also high for the indecent collection. I do realize Stardoll is a business and need to make money and "Tributes" are usually higher in price, but this I am not sure if I should splurge on anything. The prices range from 7 stardollars for a measly bangle to 40 stardollars for a half decent dress.

I would give it a 3 of 5 stars.

Disney City Girl Review

I'm doing something a bit different and I have been meaning to do this for a while. I am reviewing a game I stumbled across early this month. It reminds me a bit of stardoll and a lot of the sims social.

The sims social is a game on facebook very much the same as 'The Sims' series which I am a big fan of, but with quests and such. I played very often for about a year until my house became over crowded with items and quests...... 0.o (click the image to make it full size).

so yeah....

That game is very fun, but laggy and way too crowded. So I would give this game overall (6.5/10)

Through that I usually play the sims and stardoll and facebook also has a sims city social which gets pretty annoying fast.....

Plus these games are almost impossible to finish without friends and they don't help if they don't play often....

Either way I would give this game a 6/10

Now let's move on to Disney City Girl...

The game is similar to the sims social with quests, energy, and gameplay. It also has the feel of stardoll with 'apartments', clothing stores, furniture (like sims social) - but it has a feel of stardoll like stardoll academy with fashion/cooking/etc. themed quests that do not overfill your house. You don't need a facebook to access the game and all your friends are anonymous and it becomes much easier to complete quests with active friends.

Graphics I have been working on...

 Hey guys! I have been working on a few graphics lately. First I was requested a modeling headshot with more shadows. :) I think it turned out really well. If you want one like this, just request it! It only costed her 50 sd.

I have also been working on this banner for fall.... It will be my ISD/ Sweet Stardoll Secrets banner.
